Where can I get a list of new, failing, sold and closed restaurants in Chicago, New York City, San Francisco or Austin?

TL;DR: City Signals Data sells a one-time restaurant change file for Chicago, New York City, San Francisco or Austin covering the last 30 days. Each row is one restaurant that opened, failed a health inspection, changed hands or closed, with the source links. Founding price $99 per city, 10 of 10 left, then $125, then $150.

What is in the restaurant change file?

One row per restaurant with the business name, legal entity, address, ZIP, business type, which signals fired and why, the last inspection date and result, the event date and the source links. It covers the last 30 days for one city.

Which cities are covered?

Chicago IL, New York City NY, San Francisco CA and Austin TX. Other cities are not covered today.

Where does the data come from?

Each city's public health-inspection and business-license records, plus Texas state records for Austin. Every row links to the government records it came from.

How much does it cost?

Founding price $99 per city, 10 of 10 left, then $125, then $150. Each extra city is priced the same way, and the count goes down only when an order is paid.

How fast do I get it?

The file is pulled when you order and delivered within 3 days. You order by email and we reply with an invoice.

What happens when a value is missing?

The cell is left blank, because blank means the city did not publish it. We never fill a missing value with zero.

Can I see real rows first?

Yes. The free sample has 28 real rows across the four cities in CSV.
