Data use rules

Not a consumer report. We are not a consumer reporting agency. Our files are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and must not be used, in whole or in part, to decide anyone's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing or tenancy, or for any other FCRA purpose.

Your marketing, your compliance. If you contact anyone after using our data, by phone, text, fax, email, mail or in person, you are responsible for complying with the TCPA, the National Do-Not-Call Registry and state Do-Not-Call lists, CAN-SPAM, and state and local rules on solicitation and contractor licensing.

No personal contact data. We provide no phone numbers, email addresses or owner names, and you agree not to use our files to build skip-traced or personal profiles of homeowners.

Sources. City permit open-data portals (for example Austin and Chicago), county appraisal and assessor rolls (property facts only), the US Census Bureau and FEMA flood maps. Each row carries its source link.

Solar/roofing and year-one files. Business data only; no phone numbers, emails or owner names; rows named after a person are removed. Not a consumer report under the Fair Credit Reporting Act; not for credit, insurance, employment or housing eligibility decisions. Chicago data carries the City of Chicago disclaimer below.

Restaurant files. Restaurant files contain business data only and are for marketing; Chicago data carries the City of Chicago disclaimer: "This site provides applications using data that has been modified for use from its original source, www.cityofchicago.org, the official website of the City of Chicago. The City of Chicago makes no claims as to the content, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any of the data provided at this site. The data provided at this site is subject to change at any time.
