Which Oregon contractors got a new CCB license this week?
TL;DR: Contractor License Signals reads the Oregon Construction Contractors Board's active-license open data (data.oregon.gov g77e-6bhs) and lists contractor businesses whose first registration date falls in the last 7 days. A run on Oct 26, 2026 found 91 new Oregon contractor businesses registered Oct 19, 2026 to Oct 26, 2026. Sole proprietors and individual certifications are left out. It runs on Apify at $0.005 per record, so that week costs about $0.46.
Where does the data come from?
The Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) Active Licenses dataset on data.oregon.gov (g77e-6bhs), public domain. The tool reads it fresh every time it runs, and each row carries the source link.
What is on each row?
The contractor business name, CCB license number, license type, endorsements, city, county and ZIP, business address, first registration date, license expiration date, insurance company and expiration date, bond company and expiration date, and the source link.
How many new Oregon contractors are licensed in a week?
91 businesses with a first registration date from Oct 19, 2026 to Oct 26, 2026, counted on Oct 26, 2026. A test run on October 23, 2026 found 89 for its 7-day window. The number moves week to week.
Why are some new licensees missing?
Oregon publishes no business-type column, so only names with a legal-entity suffix such as LLC, Inc or Corp count as businesses. Sole proprietors and individual certifications such as home inspectors are dropped, so no personal names, addresses or phone numbers of individuals are output.
Can I limit it to my area?
Yes. You can filter by city or county, and run it on a weekly schedule. You can also ask for only the rows that are new since your last run.
What else can it find?
Oregon contractors whose liability insurance or contractor bond expires soon, and licenses that left the active list since your last run. It also covers Washington L&I data: new licenses, suspensions and expiring insurance.
How much does it cost?
$0.005 per record on Apify. The ready-made example caps a run at $5.
